That sore spot you’ve been ignoring or the lingering bad breath? Those little signs can signal bigger dental problems down the road. At Stein Family Dentistry in Spokane, Washington, Dr. Andy Stein doesn’t just clean teeth—he helps protect your overall health.
Dental check-ups here aren’t rushed. You’ll get 90 minutes of full attention. It starts with a visual scan using an intraoral camera so you can see what the dentist sees. Then come digital x-rays—quick, low-radiation, and precise. From there, Dr. Stein checks muscles, joints, bone health, gums, and teeth. After that? A care plan built just for you.
Skipping dental visits is like skipping oil changes—you won’t see the damage immediately, but it adds up. Regular check-ups catch things like cavities and gum disease early, when they’re easier and cheaper to treat. Plus, professional cleanings knock out plaque that your toothbrush misses. All this adds to less stress, fewer bills, and peace of mind.
The general rule is twice a year, but some folks need more. If you have diabetes, smoke, or have gum issues, Dr. Stein may recommend coming in more often. Spokane’s dry climate and local water can even play a role.Â
Dr. Stein takes the time to look beyond the surface. You’re not just getting a cleaning—you’re getting a full scan of your oral health. We use modern tech like digital X-rays and intraoral cameras, but don’t push treatment unless needed.Â
Don’t stress. It happens more than you think. Dr. Stein doesn’t lecture—he listens. At your visit, we’ll take X-rays, check your gums and teeth, and discuss the next steps. You’ll leave knowing what’s going on and what to do next.
No judgment. Just a fresh start for your oral health.
Not much. Just brush and floss before you come in. It helps the cleaning go smoother. If you’ve had any changes to your health or meds, bring those up too. Got anxiety or something that’s been bugging you? Tell us. We want to help.
Yes—and it’s not even close. Catching a cavity early can save you hundreds on a root canal later. The same goes for gum disease and cracked fillings. Cleanings help too. They knock out the buildup before it turns into something bigger. A regular dental checkup and cleaning in Spokane, WA, can save your teeth and wallet.
